Meet Cheryl
With 28 years as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and specialized training in Integrative and Functional Nutrition, my mission is to help you address the root causes of digestive and other chronic health issues so you can reclaim your health and quality of life.

My Story
How it Started
After years of seeking relief through conventional treatments, I found no solution for my Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Chronic Rhinitis, or Interstitial Cystitis (IC). Despite my expertise as a dietitian, I realized that managing these conditions through diet alone was insufficient.
I continued to suffer from debilitating flare-ups that incapacitated me for days. The prospect of enduring this for the rest of my life was unbearable. Determined, I sought to understand why my body was reacting that way and give it what it actually needed.
How I Found Answers
Thankfully, my answers came as I trained in Integrative and Functional Nutrition, an advanced, evidence-based, systems-biology approach that looks at the whole picture and addresses what’s driving chronic symptoms, not just the symptoms themselves.
I studied how to trace symptoms back to their drivers. I learned how to use functional lab testing to identify imbalances that conventional care had missed, and I dove deep into how food, targeted supplements, and genetic insights fit together in a personalized plan.
That training fundamentally reshaped how I understood my own body. For the first time, I had a root-cause process. Not another round of futile efforts.
The Discovery that Changed My Life
I anchored my search in this process, followed the breadcrumbs of my health history, and discovered that one issue affecting my gut was Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), along with its downstream impacts and the upstream factors that caused it in the first place.
Then I peeled back the layers using functional labs, food-as-medicine, lifestyle and nervous-system support, genetic insights, and targeted practitioner-grade supplements. One by one, my symptoms started to loosen their grip. My health trajectory changed, and I am beyond grateful.

My Background
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with an MS in Nutrition and advanced training in Integrative and Functional Nutrition. Earlier in my career, I worked as a clinical dietitian and later held certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator. That foundation still shapes how I practice.
